Bournemouth Air Festival 2009

On behalf of Steve Rhymes, Paul Rushton, and Ken Bradley we would like to thank all those people who helped out in the Town Centre during this years Air Festival, I think you will agree it was a great success for the Town and the Museum making it a terrific team event with great camaraderie, we are already looking forward to attending next year.

Those involved were : Tina Stone, Mark Shepherd, Peter Olding, Simon Charlton, Alan Keeping, Trina Gelkin, Les Read, Terry Hayler, David Williams, Terry Mathews, Tony Dowler, Mark Empson, Alan Howell, Bob Collins Dave Shaw, Mike Merry, Steve Stevenson, Steve Tydeman and of course Alice and the Queen of Hearts , we also extend our thanks to those people who helped to staff the Museum over this busy period..

Special thanks also go out to the Town Centre Management Team of Roger Parker and David Williams, the whole Airfix Team, Solent School of Flying / Bournemouth Helicopters and all those other companies that supported the raffle and not forgetting Simon Charlton who flew down from Edinburgh for a quiet break and ended up spending everyday on our stand.
