Zeppelin Propeller

Zeppelin Propeller

The Zeppelins were the first bombers, bringing terror to London and northen English towns and cities in the First World War.  They were armed and carried a substanial bomb load which typically could consist of five 110lb explosive bombs and fifty 7lb incendiary bombs.

The four-bladed propeller is formed by bolting two of the 22-ft bladed we have on display onto the engines at 90 degrees to each other.
